PRAYERS FROM THE HEART
It has often been stated that Christianity stands apart from most other faith systems because it is not a religion (based on works) but a relationship with God (based on faith). Those who seem to grasp this, practice an ongoing awareness of God’s presence through a wide range of prayers. The graphics chosen for this series reminds us that prayer is a vital measurement of our sincere love for God. This series draws from real people who desired to be close to God. Their prayers and the circumstances surrounding them serve to refresh our understanding of God and how to pray from the heart.
From July 26 – September 13, we will be exploring this series together, covering the following topics: Longing for God, Jesus Prays for Us, Desperate Prayer, Asking for Wisdom, Interceding for Others, Repentant Prayer, Surrender.
