OUR MID-WEEK CHILDREN MINISTRY

Welcome to our mid-week kids program, Oasis Kids! Designed for kids age 5-12, this program will help your child gain a deeper understanding of the Bible and what it teaches!

Our next session will be running this Fall, and we’ll be studying the Armour of God! Details of the program are below. Registration will be opening to the public in August!

Oasis Kids runs Wednesdays from 6:30 PM – 8:00 PM in Elim Chapel’s Basement (Side Door entrance). Our Fall session starts October 7 and finishes with a Celebration Evening on December 2 (no meeting on Nov. 25).

A typical evening will have the following schedule:

6:30-6:45pm Free Time
6:45-6:55pm Song/Happy birthday/Prayer
6:55-7:15pm Snack and teaching
7:15-7:45pm Games and activities
7:45-8:00 Craft

Fall Session Topic: The Armour of God!
Week 1 : Intro The Belt of Truth
Week 2: The Breast plate of Righteousness
Week 3: The Shoes of Peace
Week 4: Shield of Faith
Week 5: The Helmet of Salvation
Week 6: The Sword of the Spirit
Week 7: The Victory!
Week 8: Celebration evening – David Movie Pizza Party with kids service to people that use our foodbank: We will make verse cards to add to the food bank packages.

If your child is age 13 – 17, they might enjoy our Leader in Training role! If interested, email the office (office@elimchapelwinnipeg.com) to obtain the forms. 🙂
